I have been playing starcross for a long time and can only manage to get 150 points. I've identified many interesting things but can't get them to cooperate. This means it's time for some hints (not spoilers if possible). I've encounterd a alien chieftan and was nice enough to give him my spacesuit and all he does is "gesture impatiantly at various objects". (I think if I give him more stuff he'll show me something or give me something, but I've given him everything I have and he just gives it back) There's this rat-ant hill with a red rod protruding from it and if you try to get it they snap at you. There is also this strangely blank wall in the room on ring one. I think it's the door to the library. There's a holograph of the solar system that I can't do anything with or to. Any meaningful hints will be apreciated. Thanks in advance, Lonely Space Traveler

This puzzle is easier than it seems. Don't be too clever. It can be solved without anything special. > > There is also this strangely blank wall in the room on ring > one. I think it's the door to the library. Don't waste your time with this, you'll find out what it is later. > > There's a holograph of the solar system that I can't do anything > with or to. This is one of the tougher ones, also you need to solve some other puzzles before you can solve this one. (You need a special object) General Hints: Make a map for this one if you haven't already, there are alot of places to go which are easy to get to (no problems to solve) but the room description doesn't always say that there is an exit, so you might walk past an 'interesting' room. Also remember, it is a 3-D maze, so try *all* directions. :-) [...] > Thanks in advance, > > Lonely Space Traveler Your welcome. Kevin Chu ucbvax!ucdavis!vega!ccs020 /ex
