*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR PAINT BOMB *** Next month a group of us from Bell Labs will be fighting for our honor against a group from Maremont in paint wars. Paint wars is a game where there are two teams trying to get the other teams flag. Each person carries a pistol which uses paint instead of bullets to shoot the enemy with. We are new to this and were hoping somebody out there with previous battle experience could give us some pointers. Thanks in advance. Shouldn't this be 'The Survival Game'? The best strategy is to run, shoot, and hope you don't get shot. There is too little time for any in-depth planning to go on in these games... I play ocassionally (sp?) and really get a kick out of killing people... I guess that makes me sick... >>>-----------------What's wrong with this picture?------------------<<< Alan Clegg, stranger in a foreign land Voice: Hey, you want any fries with this? The only real "tactic" we employ when we play, is "Send up the Yahoos". This means to get people who have never played before to run upfield and flush out the enemy! Since it takes about 10 seconds to reload, you have pretty easy pickins on the bad guys. *** BEWARE Don't fall for this yourself *** If someone says, "OK all you yahoos can run up first and be heroes", DON'T reply, "What's a yahoo?". They'll say, " Run up there real quick and find out". Dave Juitt ----- ----- UUCP: ..linus!security!dnj ARPA: dnj@mitre-bedford He missed the tag, he missed the tag...
