The first software I bought for the IBM PC we got in our office was ZORK, and I've gotten pretty far, but am currently stuck. The only places I haven't been able to explore that I'm sure I should have are Hades and beyond the cyclops room. I would appreciate any help I can get on these. I have rung the bell outside the entrance to Hades, but don't know what to do next. I have tried attacking the cyclops with every different weapon or pointy treasure I have, but to no avail. The list of treasures I've found so far are: painting, coins, trunk full of jewels, crystal trident, jewelled egg, jade figurine, ivory torch, sceptre, scarab, gold coffin (haven't gotten it out), platinum bar, and diamond. If anyone would like clues on how to find any of these send me mail.

I have been playing zork for 3 years and I am one room from the "Endgame". I am outside the tomb of the implementers. How do I get in. I really don't want to disturb the grave, but I want to win. 4 questions about zork.... 1> how do you get past the entracne to Hades? 2> How do you get past teh glacier room, i have tried to melt it with the torch but i then drown. 3> How do you get past the Cyclops 4> How do you get in the lower shaft, since you cant bring the lamp in with you.
