[net.games] Help needed with Cutthroats

ggc@myriasb.UUCP (Gilles Chartrand) (07/15/85)

Hi, I'm having one heck of a time with CT. I'm still on my
first dive. The ship is at longitude 25, lattitude 25 and I'm
recovering some priceless stamps. I've solved the entire senario
except the last part where I get myself killed when I get back on board
ship. How do you befriend Weasel? I've tried bribing him, buying his
knife (under pretex of using it in the dive), stealing the knife when
he's asleep (but he's never asleep while I'm awake). You can post the
reply to the net since others might be having similar problems (or if
they are like me, the archive all responses to a game they want to play
even if they haven't started yet).

PS. Now I know why this game is called "Cuttroats".

Making friends with the Weasel or killing him are good ideas, but not quite
right. Have you noticed that Weasel gives McGinty something when they meet
near the ferry dock? If you find out what they are up to, it might help.
