I have posted a program playing draughts to net.sources.games as I promised some time ago. It is old (1977), and all I did to it is changing old-fashioned C to something C and lint accept today. It knows two output modes, one based on hard-copy terminals and one on the HP2640a (very fancy). Clearly someone who has more time than I have at present should change the HP2640a code to something using termcap or curses. (Unfortunately, not all the nice features can be expressed in this way: there is no standard capability to ask for the position of the cursor.)
