Here's the problem: I have 350 points. The ship is sitting on the surface of Magrathea with the hatch jammed. I have already made tea, opened the door, been all the other characters, etc. All in all, I have a locked toolbox, virtually every tool made in the civilized galaxy, and three pieces of fluff (two actually, the satchel fluff seems to have vanished). I asked Marvin to open the hatch and he told me to meet him in the access way with the proper tool. But whatever I bring, he asks for something different. I keep wondering if it involves the thing my aunt gave me and its odd properties of acting as a container and re-appearing in my inventory. Do I have to close it and, if so, how? Do I need to open the toolbox? Also, from the above, could I have missed anything? Obviously, I need a subtle hint (like having my brain smashed with a gold brick wrapped in a slice of lemon).
