I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a hint how to solve the baseball puzzle in Zork II. I know the club is a bat and the diamond-shaped windows have something to do with it, but I can't seem to "get past first base." Also, any help with getting past the guardian or what to do with the violin would be greatly appreciated. Thankya fer yer hep Markus

Bank vault spoiler: One can walk through the curtain of light if he is not holding a treasure. This puts you in the small square room. Then you can walk south through the south wall of that room. Where you end up depends upon the direction from which you last entered the room with the curtain of light. I forget whether you want to have come from the Chairman's office or not (I think not), but in one case or the other you end up in the vault where there is a stack of Zorkmid bills. Walking north again gets you into the small room and then south to get back to the room with the curtain. To get treasures out, throw them through the curtain.

[wizard] <-- (Here line eater, food...) Help! I'm having trouble getting out of the bank vault without giving the gnome any of my valuables. In other words, how do I get the portrait and zorkmid bills out of the bank? I've already found out that if you get out once and then go though the curtain you end up in a viewing room. Thanks, Mike ...ucbvax!cory!mikel

Of course, who knows where they'd end up??
