I remember seeing a version of adventure in Creative Computing in the late 70's (Actually, I beleive it was 78 or 79). I don't have the issue around here, but check a library and you should be able to find it without any major trouble. (I think that this would pretty well put it in the public domain. That doesn't mean that the implementation that *you* may have is public, it jsut means that you will proably be able to get a hold of a copy.) Bernie Gunther

The source code in Creative Computing was a version of Adventure written
in BASIC, and printed in very tiny type. Just thought I'd warn ya!
I have a copy of the FORTRAN source, and could answer any (specific)
