A request was made for a spoiler for the game CASTLE. For those who don't know, CASTLE is a neat little game designed for an IBM (or IBM-like) PC, in which you enter a castle, find treasures, kill monsters, etc. The game allows you to type simple commands, but the game works mostly with graphics. You get a bird's eye view of your character moving through the castle and its dungeon. The doesn't have puzzles that require hours of time to solve (i.e. the Zork series) but does require a little strategy and thought to get through. It's fun. But whoever designed the game can't spell worth a damn. ******SPOILER****** Anyway, here is a spoiler, sort of. I haven't solved the game yet (unfortunately, saving a game never worked quite right, so it took time to start again.) However: If you go up to the West tower, enter the Wizard's room, and wave the magic wand at the mirror, you find another room behind the mirror. In it there is a crystal ball. Look into the ball and you'll see "a man waving a wand in a twisy passage way". This, I think, is the clue to getting through the tunnels. You need to know where the water traps are in the dungeon. In other words, you need to die at least once. The trick, I think, is to wave your wand just before the water trap and it might go away. Tell me if this doesn't work. -Rob
