Organization : California Institute of Technology Keywords: infocom enchanter ***** ***** ENCHANTER spoilers enclosed ... ***** Hello -- I'm interested in a small clue to Infocom's Enchanter game. My friends and I have almost solved the game, but I get very frustrated when trying to get the adventurer to open the guarded door for me. Most of the time he just seems to accept the last treasure (in the guarded-door room), thank me for it, and walk away. Sometimes, of course, he doesn't walk away and then I can ask him to open the door ... but only sometimes. What's going on?
