[net.research] Request for Acoustic Algorithm

The following request was given me by a friend from the University
of Alberta.  She asked that I forward it to the net to see if
anyone has something to say about it.

	I'm looking for an algorithm or program that measures the
	acoustics (reverberation, speech intelligibility,..) of a room
	possibly using ray tracing or the image method. I would also
	like to find thesis and technical reports done in this area.
