everyone who jumps a rig with a 3-ring circus: in case you haven't heard, the relative workshop has recalled most 3-ring kits built in the last couple of years. the problem is that the bottom ring (on some rigs) is too weak and can stretch out under load. if the bottom ring stretches into an oval shape you wont be able to cut away. this affects you only if you have the new style square-bottomed rings, and only if your bottom ring is stamped RW-1-82 or RW-1-83. all others are still airworthy. if you have one of the suspect rings, see you local rigger to arrange for getting them replaced. -Fred Wamsley D-8844
