In 1983, a Lockheed Lodestar (all right, Learstar) jumpship crashed here, incinerating two pilots and nine jumpers, eight of whom I knew. I just heard that the parents of one of the crash victims have decided to file suit against 1. The company which made the airplane available 2. The company which modified it 3. The jumper who organized the load 4. The estates of the pilots. I will not describe my reaction to this. I have done too much flaming in this newsgroup already.
