Whats going on with the feed for this news group? I have been getting
fragments of various discussions, but obviously not much of the total. The
last two articles that I received are #99 5/20 and #100 today 5/24.(see below).
Did anyone receive the article that I published 4/30 on pull-out vs.
hand-deploy pilot chutes?
If anyone archives net.rec.skydive please let me know so that I can
get copies of the articles that I missed.

I remember from the news item that it was a Perris DC3. It threw
a prop on takeoff, The engine caught fire and the pilot aborted
the takeoff.
All aboard escaped without injury before the fire spread and
consumed the whole aircraft.

Now that is an interesting problem. I would suggest you pull
your shoot AFTER you leave the airplane. This prevents an Interruption
of the pilots concentration resulting in everyone on board ending up
as a dead.article.
