I have 85 jumps. I would like to have over 100 by the beginning of 1986 so that I can go full force into the ski season. The DZ's nearby and the marginal weather do not look like they will accommodate me. I was therefore thinking of taking a 4-day weekend trip to Florida to make a lot of good jumps to meet my YE '85 goal. I had a few questions that I would like information on. - What are the DZ's in Fla. like? - Is it possible for such a non-skygod to jump at the likes of Z-hills or Deland? Is USPA membership enough? Do I need a license? - What other DZ's are there that I might look into? - Do they jump through the week, or just on weekends? - Is the weather predictable enough that a 4-day weekend in December would yield a lot of jumps? About how many? Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me, Mike Balenger P.S. Is anyone interested in joining me to split car/hotel costs? -- ihnp4!link!msb Michael S.
