From reliable sources I heard that plans are made for an * European * 100-way. Training will be in Spain by attempting an 80-way. The record attempt will be made England in June , using 2 Hercules planes. The major goal is to beat the official 100-way record attempt, which is planned to be in August at Sandwich Ill. Once I know more I let you know. _ /_\ \|/ Peter

A friend of mine from Florida called last night. He said the DeLand, FL DZ flew in a Boeing 727 for what they are calling "D. B. Cooper Day". (For those of you unfamiliar, Cooper was the fellow that parachuted out of a hijacked 727 with lots of $ a number of years ago and was never seen again.) Anyway, besides the fun of having a jet listed in your logbook, he said they will probably make some sort of attempt at the 100-way while it's there. A. Ray Miller Univ Illinois
