Even though my '78 Rabbit used no oil, I took it in anyway. I figured that getting new seals couldn't hurt. Unfortunately that new black box on the vacuum line did -- it reduced my gas mileage from 32 to 29. Another change that was made was the complete disabling of the EGR system. For all of that, the car runs no better (it ran fine before). At least it runs no worse!
