I, too, had the oil-loss fix done on my '78 Rabbit. In the two+ months since it was done, there has been no apparent oil loss. I'm afraid I can't help on WHAT was done -- replacement of the valve seals seems to be a good guess. Bob Warren cbosg!nscs!rew

It's nice to see that the valve seal fix works. I saw in Consumer's Reports a few months back that the recall was for 75 -78 cars. I have a 75, but have not received a recall notice yet. Does anyone know anything more about the years the recall applies to? Neil Soiffer
