The Morrow Project as it is now is playable and enjoy- able but can use some addtional material. I was recently at HEXACON (Toronto) and the creators of the game ran the tour- nament for MP themselves. Apperently that they had critical hit tables, etc with them. I believe they are coming out with the first module and there is addtional material in it.

I would like to hear what people feel about The Morrow Project by Timeline Ltd. I've only recently aquired a copy and am interested in what other people's ideas for the game are. Personally it looks like a very nice system and I enjoy playing it. If you like Top Secret or SFRPGs you will probably like TMP.

Before launching into an "I like this or that about TMP" or "TMP needs more..." sort of discussion, would someone kindly submit a brief discription of just what The Morrow Project is for the benefit of us less enlightened folks. If it weren't on net.games.frp I'd swear it was a TV SciFi movie about a giant computer run amuck.... - Don Morrison harpo!don

The best description I've ever heard about the Morrow Project comes from Frank Chadwick cheif designer for Game Design Workshop after we finished our first game. It was in the form of a conversation between a team member and a local: Morrow Team Member: Hello there! Local: Hello what are you doning here? MTM: We're here to rebuild civilization! L: Hmmmm, What do you have in the truck? MTM: Explosives. ... T. Harris Bell Labs Naperville, IL P. S. We found that using standard highway maps are best as they show most of the features that are likely to be still locatable in several decades/centuries. (Like big holes where military bases were located etc.)
