[net.games.frp] frp by mail

cmaz504@ut-ngp.UUCP (07/18/83)

Occasionaly I see ads for what sound like role playing games via mail.
If I remember correctly you send in a move along with x amount of money
and get a reply to your action sometime later. Does anyone out there
know anything about these sorts of games (how they work, if they're any
good, costs, etc.) or have any experience with them?

If anyone has played by mail, please respond to the net. Also, is anyone
interested in playing over NetMail?

net.games.pbm has existed for the discussions of PBM games
for almost a year now...

In reply to the article asking if anyone
was interested in a fantesy role-playing game by
	mail:

Yes, there is interest in frp games by mail.
this note is to evidence that I (for one) share this
interest. However, I haven't got the time to
coordinate such a project. Would someone else please
	volunteer?

I would definitely be interested in some sort of playing some sort
of frp via netmail. I might even be induced to host/coordinate such an
effort.
