I will add a couple of my own, and crawl back into the woodwork. i) A friend was running in a party that consisted of a couple of dwarves and a [very low-level] cleric. After lunch one day, a vampire happened by (don't ask me why) and began to terrorize the party. The dwarves had indulged in wine/ale with lunch and began to relieve themselves. When the cleric threw a "purify water," the running water was sufficient to cause the vampire to change his strategy --- the party escaped. ii) I have thought about "teleporting the innards of a dragon to, say, the next city." (I enjoy the corresponding version of that: if you are teleporting then the area where you were must be replaced with the matter from where you're going. As a result, if you are watching someone teleport and a stone statue of that person appears, he must have teleported into solid rock. (I'd sell the statue and leave town.)) The submissions are appreciated. Keep those cards and letters coming! Jeff Bowles Lisle, IL
