I appreciate the comments on "creative uses for spells". I will add a
couple of my own, and crawl back into the woodwork.

i)	A friend was running in a party that consisted of a couple of
dwarves and a [very low-level] cleric. After lunch one day, a
vampire happened by (don't ask me why) and began to terrorize
the party. The dwarves had indulged in wine/ale with lunch and
began to relieve themselves. When the cleric threw a "purify
water," the running water was sufficient to cause the vampire
to change his strategy --- the party escaped.
ii)	I have thought about "teleporting the innards of a dragon to, say,
the next city." (I enjoy the corresponding version of that: if you
are teleporting then the area where you were must be replaced with the
matter from where you're going. As a result, if you are watching
someone teleport and a stone statue of that person appears, he must
have teleported into solid rock. (I'd sell the statue and leave town.))

The submissions are appreciated. Keep those cards and letters coming!
