In the past, net.games.frp readers have expressed an interest in reading about others' campaigns. In this spirit, a bunch of AD&Ders in New Jersey intend to chronicle their biweekly adventures on the net, to entertain and to generate some discussion. As the DM for the group, I will have absolutely no input into the submissions. Everything will be developed totally by the players. However, since no DM can avoid the temptation to do *some* meddling, I am posting this note to give a wee bit of background and to make one request of Netland. With one exception, these players are all inexperienced with role-playing in general and AD&D in particular. Even the experienced FRP'er has been away from AD&D for several years, so he's a bit rusty. I've tried to take these factors, plus my own warped sense of what's fun and exciting, into account when designing a dungeon and a world that's not *quite* in accordance with E. Gary Gygax. Anyway, since it is MY campaign, any comments/questions/ flames about the campaign, the NPCs, the adventure itself, etc. should be directed to me, not the players. Correspondingly, comments/questions/flames about the characters, the chronicles, etc. should be addressed to the players. My only request is that if you think you know something that the players don't, PLEASE don't say anything (NO, not even a hint. This means you!) to them. When in doubt, please ask me; I'll be glad to tell you by mail what's going on if you ask and promise not to blab. Excelsior, Rob Mitchell {allegra,ihnp4}!hogpd!jrrt
