Since I've had a couple of requests (and since I love to see my name
in print) I'm posting three of my researched spells.


Level: 6
Name: Mr. Frog's Nondetectability I
Duration: 6 melee rounds + 1 melee round / level
Range: touch
casting time: 6 segments
area of effect: personal
saving throw: n/a

When this spell is in effect, the recipient can neither be seen,
heard, detected by scent, radar, sonar, ultravision, or infravision.
Anything thrown on the person becomes invisible and stays invisible
until, and for a couple of seconds after leaving him.  Detection spells
under 5th level find nothing (i.e. detect magic will not detect the
recipient; nor will detect invisible).  The recpient of the spell
does not turn visible when attacking.  Of course, anything uttered
by the recipient is audible to himself, so spells can still be
cast; however, nobody else will hear them.  Magic items requiring
command words can still be used as long as the user is holding
the item.

The recipient can still see, hear, smell, etc. everything just
like normal.  It's like a one-way mirror.

Of course, the recipient can still be found by touch.  If he is
located in this way, the creature locating him will only have a
-4 to attack rolls (i.e. normal invisibility penalties).


Level: 3
Name: The Cone of Silence
Duration: 5 minutes + 1 minute / level
range: touch
casting time: 3 segments
area of effect: 1' radius surrounding the target
save: negated

When this spell is cast, the target can neither hear nor be heard by
anything outside his "cone of silence" (it's not really a cone -
I just like the name).  He can still hear himself, so spell casting
is still possible.  In addition, if magical sonic damage is directed
at the recipient, he will be at a +2 to his save, and -1 per die of
damage done.  Non-magical sonic attacks will have no effect.

Spells requiring verbal effects on their targets (like suggestion,
command, etc) will not make it through the cone unless they
are higher than sixth level (like Holy Word, for instance).

"Chief, this calls for the Cone of Silence."
"No Max, not the Cone of Silence!"
"Yes Chief, the Cone of Silence"
"Oh, all right.  We've learned that Kaos has...."
"Uh... What was that, Chief?"



Level: 8
Name: Disintegrate + 2
Duration: Instantaneous
Range: .5" / level
casting time: 8 segments
area of effect: 30'x30'x30' cube
save: damage

When this spell is cast, everything in the area of effect must
save vs. spells or be disintegrated.  If the saving throw is made,
then the lucky victim takes 1d6 of disintegration damage (ever hear of
disintegration resistance?) for every level of the spell caster.
Note that if magic items are in the area of effect, and the owner
misses his save (or even makes his save, and is disintegrated due to
the damage done), then the items must each make two saving throws
in order to survive.
