[net.games.frp] Powers & Perils/Lords of Creation

brachman@eosp1.UUCP (Rich Brachman) (04/19/84)

I just recently purchased Powers & Perils. I have not had a chance to read
through all of the rules yet, but it looks very good. The magic system is
a spell point system. My only complaint is that there are too many categories
which have abbreviations.

I believe that Lords of Creation is a new rpg from Fantasy Games Unlimited.
It is written by Lee Gold (of A & E fame).

Has anybody had a chance to give either of these rules systems a close
examination.

The secret is in the spin cycle.

Hello there. This is "Lee Gold (of A&E fame)" [she typed modestly].

My game from FGU is LANDS OF ADVENTURE. It is RQ-like but (I think)
easier and more interesting to play. (Well, perhaps not all that modest
after all.)

I did not write Lords of Creation - and have to confess I don't know who did.
More details on LoA on request. --LG
