Unfortunately, all too many people rule that Charm and similar command
spells make the victim feel loyal/obedient to the caster. Therefore,
"defect" might just cause the victim to return to hiser old alignment.
If the victim (and the other enemies) are of a different species than you
and your party, you could always try coining a word like "Orc-icide."
(As GM, I'd probably delay results a little while the victim figured the
command out - and give a "saving throw" vs incomprehension/miscomprehension.)
Other possible one word commands are Conciliate, Love and Peace. (Or are
just thoughts too un-D&Dish. In A&E recently,k a contributor suggested
that PCs are all psychic vampires, acquiring mana when they kill something.
This explains D&D/AD&D EP--and the added HP/Attack Level they confer. It
also explains why all those Lawful/Goods are out breaking into people's
homes and killing/robbing them.)

That might have the desired effect presuming that it was taken as a verb rather than a noun. ======================================== I'm Pro-Wombat... and I Vote Paul Hoefling Tektronix, Inc. 50-454 Beaverton, OR 97077 USENET: ...!tektronix!paulh CSnet: paulh@tektronix ARPAnet: paulh.tektronix@csnet-relay
