[ aaargh! - Take That You Fiend! ] Hmmm, it seems I gave out wrong info when I said that SCA uses "REAL" swords. I was basing my experience on a very limited experience with a group that my cousins were in about 8 years ago. When I saw them I saw what I thought was real weapons, but it seems I was mistaken. But one thing I do know was that some of them had VERY elaborate armour. One guy had a fairly complete suit (upper body only) of plate, that his father, a metal worker had made for him. Others had leather and cloth armour. I'm sorry if I gave any mis-conceptions or did any wrong for the SCA by my mistake. I have the highest regards for anyone who takes their beliefs in the "simpler" and more glamorous times of the Medieval Era seriously enough to be involved in an organization such as the SCA. ==> Again - REAL Armour BUT NOT weapons (Simulated only) <== - Dale Salyer druxh!des
