[net.games.frp] DandD birthday and backwards mas

"I have yet to play an FRP game where the player party was not
engaged in mortal combat with the minions of evil."

Ah well... Currently my campaign has three groups of player characters
in different parts of the world, carrying out different missions/adventures.
One of the groups is, on average, lawful good. The second is chaotic nuetral.
The third group is leaning toward chaotic evil. One of the things
a player quickly (boy do I mean quickly) learns in a chaotic evil group is that
the word "trust" is inoperative. In a game where cooperation yields the
best results, a chaotic evil group is the most difficult to run successfully.
(Not to mention the problem of the inter character animosity carrying over into
real life.)
Thus, good groups are the most popular. I do have a problem with DMs who let
"lawful good" groups ravage the dungeon and/or countryside. That just doesn't
fit with my definition of that alignment.

Finally let me state that I don't believe:

	1. D&D to be a tool of Satan.
	2. suicide to be a likely result of frp'ing
