<1 of 3> I'm very interested in hearing about anyone's experiences with convention scenarios or tournaments, especially if they involved the Champions rules system. There seems to be almost no literature available on how to run a scenario well within the restrictions of a convention (primarily, time), but I'm sure there are many netters out there who've attended conventions and have likes or dislikes about what happened. I'm hoping to run a scenario between two and six times at Origins 85, and my only experience at national conventions was running a X-Men/Teen Titans team-up at Origins 84, which was successful (the players seemed to enjoy it, and that's what counts), but could have been more so. So if anyone out there has opinions on how or how not to run a role-playing scenario/tournament at a convention, let me know. If you think it's of general interest, post, otherwise either send it to me via USMail or send it to uokvax!lmaher and it'll be printed out and mailed to me eventually. When I return to uokvax in the Fall I'll summarize and post, if anyone cares by then. Many thanks to all, and I hope to see some of you at Origins!
