1) concerning the Electrify Druid - great job. It is very similar
to the 1st level Fairy Fire. I do agree though that it should be
of a lesser level and that it could be placed on others.

2) What's this about the PBM game not being AD&D ?!? Since Brian is
on vacation I may as well point out that telling you of new spells
is to YOUR advantage- ex- 5th level mage spell RECHARGE has now
been adapted in my own campaign. Also, those of you playing, don't
worry. The game will start with all the ghods' help either next
week or the one after when Brian stops vacationing.

3) Wall of Ice & Lightning - it seems like a heavy expenditure of SP's
wouldn't a simple fireball be easier?

4) misknown Affect Normal Fires - very cute. I myself want to research
a 5th level FIRE SHIELD that would be in affect an inferno eruption
around the mage - castable in melee! (sortof an alchemical magic mix).

5) would someone please post the conventions coming up in the EAST ?

So that's about all for now- let's see some more innovative
	spell ideas and controversy here!

I must say, the discussions have been great.

AD&D is based on stories of fantasy. The adapted usage is from
Vance (I believe) who has his collection of Mages who sit around,
do not like to be disturbed, and do research and collect IOUN
stones! They meet every so often when plots arise to gain an item
or to judge each other. They all carry spells. This is the
basis for the MU's of AD&D. If you want to use the Mana theory,
fine. It is not "silly". In the story I read the mana was
pretty much depleted, but I can readily agree that in a fresh
world this is fine. In fact, you can adapt a module: your +3
sword glows dimmer in this module...

I once went on this adventure and got hit with a beautiful curse.
We were picking thru the loot and we opened up the MU's spellbook.
Oops. We rolled, since noone wanted to claim responsibility for
doing such a thing. I was the lucky one.

	Goodbye: Cube of Force
		 Wand of Fire (17 charges...)

Start again. We recently played the module by Gygax which is
the replica of Alice in Wonderland. In this module you have
to shrink in order to go in- so you can't take your magic!
Further, since all the magic and treasure is small, the magic
can't be taken out, and the treasure is worth only 1/10th!!!

These methods both limit magic and fleece NPC's. Permanency
drains a CON point. If someone wears a Girdle, he runs a
good chance of breaking his hands unless he has Ogre guantlets!
Using NPC's or other PC's is standard procedure.

If you play, and you are really not challenged, you can Womp
everything you meet, you can't be touched, etc. it's time to
play a Tomb of Horrors module (Hi there, you nice sweet demi-lich)!

		I guess that's it.

		Merry Adventuring-
