No no, not the current address of the elves! For whoever really cares: Moshe Eliovson mte @ busch sorry but i don't have a pathto up yet. Concerning elves: ad&d is a little unfair. check out the new d&d supplementary rules that just came out and you'll see that they consider special artifact constructional ability for upper level elves, dwarves and halflings. One explanation is from Tolkien, the elves who knew died out or intermarried or what not. Incorporated with different themes of ages/millenia/dimensions you could just say that the elder elves no longer live on this plane; or that their age ended. a note on the teleport: the spell takes into account that it will be an instantaneous transportation. while a novice might be noisy and quite possibly get killed a master would silently slip in and out of dimension. noise sounds like a cantrip kind of thing to me.
