In the current issue of Smithsonian magizine (December 1983) there is
an article on fractals. There is no technical material in the artical. A
brief history of fractals is given along with several nice illustrations.
On page 117 in this article are two illustrations of versions of the
dragon curve. It is not hard to figure out now the bottom one is done, but
I am not having much luck figuring out the top one. Can anyone tell me how
the top one was generated?
