Hello all, I have just finished, what is good enough to be a first release anyway, an AD&D character/party generator. It is written in Abasic, yuck!, but it works. It uses the mouse for all input save where a keyboard is unavoidable. It works fairly fast when you consider what it is doing. Final output is a disk file containing each character, his stats, psionics, and weight. The generator will role multiple times for each character and take the best, the weight is a function of the characters abilities. It is really intended to be an on line rogues gallery. If anyone would like a copy I will mail it this Friday, and if enough people request it I will post it. Its length is about 600 lines without documentation. *disclaimer: The ideas behind this code are from the TSR game AD&D and this program is based on their ideas. TSR can have it if they really want it, else it is in the public domain.
