[ont.jobs] UNIX/C programmers

ian@utzoo.UUCP (Ian F. Darwin) (02/17/86)

SoftQuad Inc., is looking for two or three bright, energetic recent
graduates, near-graduates or honest hackers to help us bring a product
to market. The product is a debugged and enhanced version of
device-independent troff that really *is* device independent
(at least, more nearly so than what we started with!).
We need junior programmers with an interest in graphics or
(preferably) typesetting and word processing to develop troff
device-specific filters and to port the product to additional
versions of UNIX. There are other projects in the works that
go beyond troff.

The environment is challenging as befits our work, chaotic
as you'd expect from a small but growing startup, and rewarding.
The development system is a nondescript 68000 UNIbox but will
be replaced shortly by Sun-3 hardware.

We need people now. Degree and work experience desirable but
attitude counts. Send me your resume in troff form by electronic
mail at the address *below* for prompt consideration.
