A head hunter named Allan Fry (416) 482-8424 is looking for someone to write
some applications software.  They are building a point of sale system for
gas stations (out at the pump).  The machine is some new NCR micro, and
the language is BASIC.  The operating system is "UNIX-similar".  They
need someone now.

	Digital Media Networks operates a network of electronic
	message boards.  From our offices in downtown Toronto we
	broadcast sports, news and weather information to a network
	of display boards located in bars and restaurants 
	throughout southern Ontario.

	We have an immediate opening for an intermediate C
	programmer. If you have a bachelor or masters degree in
	C.S. and are fluent in C, then you are the person we want.

   	We currently operate in a network environment with IBM PC
   	micros. This, soon, is to be enhanced by the addition of
	SUN graphic work-stations. We will be developing in-house
	accounting and reporting software as well as a customized
	graphics and animation editor.

	Experience in one or more of the following would be an asset:
		- Unix operating system (4.2BSD)
		- Intel 8086 assembler
		- Graphics programming (SUN)
		- Quantum Software Systems, QNX operating system

FTL Systems of Toronto produces desktop publishing software for the Macintosh.
We are looking for a programmer to do program development and technical support.
Programming is done in C and Pascal, under Apple's Macintosh Programmer's
Workbench.  Typesetting is done in TeX.
Qualifications are flexible, but some experience with TeX would be a plus.
