                      SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Forest Resources Branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources has a
contract postition available in the Tree Seed and Forest Genetics Unit,
located at Queen's Park, in Toronto, full time for the summer, 
with the option of part-time September to Jan.

The duties may include maintenance of the Unit's hardware (PC's: IBM's,
DEC's, Toshiba) and software, user support, DBM work, statistical
analysis, and programming. 

The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable in both DOS(PC/MS) and
UNIX, somewhat familiar with WordPerfect, Symphony/1-2-3, PC-Focus,
have programming experience with at least two of C, Pascal, or
Fortran, and be comfortable with statistics and statistical software.

The position is available almost immediately (subject to the speed at
which a bureaucracy can move paper, which is not very fast :-) ); rate
of pay will depend mostly on status of your degree, i.e. you get more
$$ if you have it.
