[ont.jobs] Customer Support for Desktop Publishing on Unix/Aegis/VMS

drew@geaclib.UUCP (Drew Sullivan) (10/25/88)

Interleaf Canada needs at least one good customer support person
for their home office.
The candidate should be familiar with Sun, Apollo or DEC
workstations, with familiarity with VAX VMS being a distinct
advantage. These are not entry-level or "dumb telephone-answerer"
positions, as the typical problem is getting printing to work on
yet another networked workstation...
The environment is a smallish office, doing mostly post-sales
work and administration in support of a small group of salespeople.
The candidate will be working with myself, field support and another
customer support person under a very laid-back VP of operations,
Mr. Jim Gentle.

Interleaf is a largish company ($7m profit on $58m last year),
selling a workstation-based professional publishing system, primarily
to large organizations. Our main customer base is on Suns, with the
same program running on Microvax, Apollo, Mac II and 386 PCs.
Interleaf Canada is a wholly-owned subsidiary with offices
in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver.

    Our address is

covering letters to the attention of Mr. Jim Gentle.
