Alias Research Inc., the leader in interactive 3D computer graphic design
software, seeks a positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a
desire for growth and experience in an exciting high-tech environment.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Computer Facilities, the successful candidate's
responsibilities will be:

Design, develop, test, debug and maintain
    a Computer Assisted Software Engineering (CASE) Environment,
    for a team of approximately 20 programmers working on
	highly interactive graphical applications.
Ensure that the automatic nightly re-build of software
    has completed successfully; resolve problem areas with
    the Team Leaders and programmers involved.
Build software releases, as required, for demos, testing and release.

The computing environment is UNIX based, networked using TCP/IP and NFS.
Programming is done in C and C++.
The software environment is based on RCS, MAKE, and C-Shell scripts,
and is partly in place; ongoing development is required.

Experience:

Proficiency in C, Unix, Shell programming, MAKE, and RCS.
Communications skills are critical, since this is a internal support position.
Knowledge of manual and automatic software testing methods would be an asset.
