mdfreed@ziebmef.uucp (Mark Freedman) (04/25/89)
(April 24, 1989) I have been on sabbatical for about eighteen months, and would now like to ease back into the workforce. Ideally, this would be part-time or project-related work, preferably on a contract basis, and involve flexible hours and possibly some work at home. Between twenty and thirty hours per week is optimal, although I could probably manage more. I have approximately fifteen years of varied experience in applications development (user interface, system design, documentation, implementation, support, maintenance). Roughly half of this has been on IBM Mainframes (MVS and DOS), mostly in COBOL with some exposure to System 2000, IMS, CICS, Fortran, PL/I and BAL (BAL mostly from debugging dumps). The remainder has involved IBM-PC's, and has included C development for the MS-DOS and Waterloo PORT environments, as well as some Realia COBOL and Turbo Pascal. My experience with 8086 assembler has been in debugging other languages, rather than from developing assembler programs. I live in the north-east part of Toronto (Sheppard Avenue / 404), but I have a car and can commute reasonable distances. I can be reached at (416) 498-8821 or via E-mail. A detailed resume and references are available upon request.
