Position: Programmer/Analyst in C, MS Windows Environment.

    Project Pierre is a maturing "skunkworks" group within a large 
retailing organization.  The project seeks to provide the upper
management of the corporation with timely, accurate marketing
information.  The platform for the system is a Microsoft Windows
front end that communicates with a LAN database as well as a 
large mainframe database.

    The position opening up is in the PC department, working with
the LAN database and the micro-mainframe communications application.

    The project is a small, dynamic group of 15 people outside of
the main DP department of the company, answering directly to the
president.  We have been given the room to do some ground-breaking
work in information presentation.
    
Applicants should have:
    - Post-secondary  education with a degree or diploma in
        computer studies.  Fluency in C is essential.
    - Experience with micro databases, in particular db_Vista, is
        desirable.
    - Experience with micro-mainframe communications, in particular
        low level IRMA communications, is desirable.
    - Experience with programming for the MS Windows environment 
        would be of value.
