SOFTWARE ENGINEERS
Biomedical Image Analysis, 3-D Visualization
Imaging Research produces image analysis and visualization software
for biomedicine. Our environment is the 80386/80486 running OS/2
Presentation Manager and hosting state-of-the-art imaging and graphics
engines. Typical projects include analysis of PET and NMR images,
3-dimensional reconstruction of neurons and cerebral blood vessels,
volume rendering of autoradiographs, imaging of calcium levels in
neurons, sequence analysis of gels, analysis of 2-D gels, quantitative
densitometry, and many forms of automated morphometry.
You are an exeptionally able and motivated C programmer at the
bachelor's or master's level, with a concentration in imaging or
visualization. You enjoy the most challenging forms of scientific
programming and are capable of working with minimal supervision.
Experience with the 80x86 computer family, graphical user interfaces
and with biomedical applications would be assets, though not essential.
