                    SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND IMAGE DATABASE

Imara Research Corporation, the leader in OS/2 Digital Document Management
Systems, is looking for an experienced database programmer to join its design
and implementation team.

We are developing a system in a multi-tasking, multi-user desktop environment
that will be the landmark office image communication and archive management
system of the 1990s. Developed under OS/2, our system is also targeted for
Unix platforms.

Our development environment consists of networked 386s, OS/2, Presentation
Manager, SQL Server, Lan Manager and C. We are looking for a database
programmer with experience in both function call interfaces and embedded SQL
in C programs. Programming experience at this level with any of SQL Server,
Oracle Server or Database Manager is a definite asset. We need people who can
bring strong communication skills and teamsmanship along with technical
talents.

Since we are providing seminal desktop products for the burgeoning imaged
document management market, it is necessary that we create a very carefully
crafted product that will enjoy wide user acceptance. If you want to be proud
of your work, we want you on our team.

We offer an exciting downtown Toronto location, competitive salary and
benefits, a bonus plan, flexible hours and a smoke-free environment near
subway and GO trains.
