SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND IMAGE DATABASE Imara Research Corporation, the leader in OS/2 Digital Document Management Systems, is looking for an experienced database programmer to join its design and implementation team. We are developing a system in a multi-tasking, multi-user desktop environment that will be the landmark office image communication and archive management system of the 1990s. Developed under OS/2, our system is also targeted for Unix platforms. Our development environment consists of networked 386s, OS/2, Presentation Manager, SQL Server, Lan Manager and C. We are looking for a database programmer with experience in both function call interfaces and embedded SQL in C programs. Programming experience at this level with any of SQL Server, Oracle Server or Database Manager is a definite asset. We need people who can bring strong communication skills and teamsmanship along with technical talents.
