Can anybody out there help me solve a problem of front-end wobble
on my '73 Honda 750??? My Honda mechanic says that this wobble is
inherent in the design of the older 750's. His advice to run the
front tire approx 5 pounds below reccommended pressure seemed to
help, but only a little. (GPZ750 owner- note this may calm your
80 mph shimmy.) My Honda is properly aligned, so does anybody
know where else to look for the solution to this wobble? By the
way, this shimmy only occurs on DEacceleration from 50 to 40mph.
A most persnickety problem. If you can help, please post to
net.cycle so the multitudes of us Honda 750 owners can benefit.
