But why is it that Yamaha is the only manufacturer to implement a
headlight control that keeps 'em off till the engine is "going"?
A friend just bought a new 650 Special, and it has the same feature, so I
assume that it is Yamaha wide... I imagine that the feature is implemented
with a relay and an extra pair of switch contacts on the starter switch, but
I would like to know for sure... sounds like a decent mod for my Kawasaki,
which does it darndest to drain its battery when it is 27 degrees and the
snow is just starting to fall and you're 20 miles from home... Unfortunately,
at least once, the bike won....
