I can't help you with the gas stain problem, but I can say that Aromor-all is great stuff. I use it on my Kawasaki tires and also on the seat, and they always look like new. Also, I'm on a fire department, and we use it on the tires and interior upholstery of the fire trucks to get them ready for parades,etc. I have not seen anything better for tires than Armor-all.
