Don't let me discourage you from getting a V45 honda (either sabre or magna) but their great bikes as long as you don't need parts. I've heard horror stories about guys having to wait months for a very expensive tail light. And of course the v65 magna is totally different (scaled up) from the v45 magna (probably the bulbs will swap). Yes your talking to someone that doesn't like hondas corporate philosophy. You know next year they will come out with either a totally new or highly modified version of your bike, driving down the used bike prices. The water cooled v4's will probably be a strong engine for a long time but heaven help you if you need major service. Think you would feel comfortable adjusting the valves on one of those things? Honda does not build bikes with rebuildability in mind. They figure by the time your bike starts getting tired they can offer you the newest, state of the art, as of yet untried, japanese experiment, at a cost close to the cost of rebuilding your magna. seismo!tiberio
