I'm wondering if any netters out there are into performance motorcycling. I currently own a '82 Suzuki GS1100E that I enjoy tremendously. I'm fortunate enough to live close to many winding canyon roads that provide ample peg- dragging opportunities. And I willingly hang off and scrape pegs... All year, except when there's *ICE* on the roads. Are there other riders that fit that description? If so, come out of the closet! You needn't own a big-bore superbike - I used to have almost as much fun on a '75 Honda CB400F. I would be happy to share experiences with oils, tires, etc.. Reply to the net for generally interesting replies or mail me your personal reply. Here's hoping I hear from someone! Russ Panneton ..!ucbvax!nbires!rsp

Two strokes have been foolin' us all along. They run above normal pressure all the time due to expansion chamber reflections, hence the trade off of the turbo, weight and compexity for a wider power band, is not worth it. As far as the technology, there is nothing more advanced than the factory 500cc two stroke road burners. Much less than 400lbs. and 140 H.P., whew, no wonder wheelies are so easy! tektronix!tekid!david
