#R:mhuxl:-123900:ihlpf:4800001:000:849 ihlpf!donr Feb 20 15:47:00 1984 I had a 1974 Honda CB360. I bought it in 1977 for $400 and sold it in 1981 for $400. When I bought it it had ~6,000 miles on it and when I sold it it had ~13,000 miles on it. I thought it was a good starter bike for an area that you could only ride the bike in the warm summer months. When I moved to south Florida and started riding all year I bought a new 1981 Honda 750. I still have it and really enjoy it. For the time I had the 360 I had NO problems with it. It did not leak or burn oil. I did however have to replace the tires at ~ 12,000 miles and the chain at around 10,000 miles. If the bike you are interested in is in good shape and the price is right, then if I were you I would buy it. After all how much will it set you back. If you find out that you dont enjoy it, you can always clean it up and sell it. Good luck if you buy it.
