[For line-eating mailers] I wear prescription glasses and an open face helmet with a face shield. The helmet is made by Honda and it passes the Snell 1975 tests. In all directions my vision is limited by the frame of my glasses, not by the helmet itself. When I used to ride my motorcycle in Italy, I had an open-face helmet without glasses and I used large goggles on top of my glasses. I could never find a pair of goggles that would not limit my vision more that my prescription glasses did. I find my open-face helmet with face shield more convenient than the open-face helmet and goggles combination. I would imagine that most bispectacled motorcyle riders would agree.
