My old Bell helmet (openfaced) is getting pretty beat-up and I want to look at some new helmets, particularly full-faced models. While leafing through Rider magazine I noticed an ad by Zip Penn for the Vetterlite helmet for just under $60. I recall reading a review article on this helmet about two years ago that spoke favorably of it except for a comment that the author would have preferred greater side vision. Are there any Vetterlite owners out there who could confirm this drawback or put it into perspective? This model used to sell for over $100 and I am wondering about the large markdown. Any comments on how this helmet compares with others is welcome.
