A recent business trip to Monterey, California reminded me of Laguna Seca
which reminded me of the Sparkplug 200 motorcycle races there which reminded me
of motorcycle trips which reminded me of the importance of knowing where the
local dealers are in various places in the US and Canada in case they're
needed.
There are now two BMW dealers in the Portland area in case you find
yourself touring the Northwest on a BMW (a good idea). They are:

#2 is the newest and is an exclusive BMW dealer - no other marques. #1 is
on the far eastern edge of Portland and #2 is west of Portland. I understand
that there will be a couple o' more exclusive BMW dealers, one in Olympia,
Washington and one in Boise, Idaho if rumors serve me correctly. BMWNA seems
genuinely serious about enhancing their dealer network and their customer
relations.
